Shawn Donahue serves as an advisor for Sperry Van Ness specializing in the sale of industrial and self storage property as well as the sale of industrial land in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania. Donahue joined Sperry Van Ness in 2006, bringing with him more than 14 years of diverse business and commercial lending experience. In less than two years, he has closed multiple transactions with a career sales volume in excess of $8 million. For his efforts, Donahue was the East Region’s nominee for Rookie of the Year in 2006 and awarded Rookie of the Pack for the region in mid-2007.

Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Donahue served as vice president of commercial loans for Commerce Bank’s Lehigh Valley region. His efforts led to producing 46 percent of the region’s commercial loan growth and 48 percent of all new deposits in 2005. Previously, Donahue served as director of finance for Andretti International, Inc. where he played a key role in many facets of the company, including all aspects of acquiring and disposing of real estate and business interests. He has also served as vice president of Lafayette Ambassador Bank and as assistant vice president of Summit Bank (now Bank of America), providing him with broad experience in structuring debt financing for commercial real estate transactions.

Donahue is best known for his attention to detail and placing his client’s interests first. Client testimonials commend him for his knowledge, professionalism, and moving transactions to closing. His client list includes: Mario and Michael Andretti and First Industrial Realty Trust as well as local business professionals.

Donahue is involved in his community as a member of the Northampton County General Purpose Authority, the Northampton County Higher Education Authority, the Northampton County Hospital Authority, and is on the Board of Directors of the Nu Deuteron House Association of Theta Delta Chi National Fraternity at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.

Donahue is a member of the Lehigh Valley Association of Realtors, the PAR and NAR. Additionally, Donahue earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in business and economics from Lehigh University.
