Kris Christensen

Self Storage Advisor

Kris Christensen serves as an associate advisor for Sperry Van Ness/Commercial Realty specializing in the marketing, sale, disposition, and acquisition of self storage properties in New York and the Northeast. With more than 10 years of operation management experience with investment property, Christensen brings an extensive knowledge of property development and enhancement, yield management strategies, and call center functionality to the team.

Christensen chose to join the Sperry Van Ness National Self Storage Team after five years as Regional Vice President of Operations with Sovran Self Storage where he led day-to-day operations of more than 100 facilities. In addition to his operation assignments, Christensen was involved in more than $100 million in self storage acquisitions. Prior to his time with Sovran, Christensen was a hotel general manager under the Choice International and Best Western flags.

Christensen is a graduate of Buffalo State College and resides with his family in Grand Island, New York.
